Play tennis. Play safe. Please visit MTC’s COVID-19 page. Get to know the protocols that allow MTC to open for play. All members are expected to follow them. It is MANDATORY that you enter the courts via the deck and sanitize your hands when you arrive. Also posted are links from ACE (our Junior coaches), the Ontario Tennis Association and Tennis Canada. Changing the way we play tennis won’t be easy but we can do it! MTC will only be open when staffed, so someone will always be there to help you stay safe.
Hi MTC members. We hold elections each Fall at our Annual General Meeting and every year we form a Nominating Committee to find members interested in running for office. This year’s Nominating Committee is:
- Abegail Cabio – email@example.com
- Susan Kitamura – firstname.lastname@example.org
- Raj Sekhar Pochiraju – email@example.com
If you are interested in volunteering for any Executive position feel free to contact a member of the Nominating Committee (or any member of the Executive). We are waiting to hear from YOU! As it says on our Website:
Get Involved!Volunteers run the Milton Tennis Club. Be willing to help out, make friends, and support your Club. The success of our programs depends on both the participation of members and the commitment and dedication of our volunteers. MTC can be proud of our community spirit, and we encourage all members to share in the effort.
For more information about us, poke around the Website. Maybe read our Constitution … you can find it on our ABOUT US page under WELCOME. http://miltontennis.com/about-us/

Hello Milton Tennis Community:
I am pleased to inform you that the construction of the new courts at the Milton Tennis club started today! This work includes 8 brand new courts, hitting wall, and refreshed deck and ramp.
As well, we are working with the Milton Winter Tennis club to update the clubhouse with new paint, furniture, and updates to the downstairs change rooms.
The target is to complete in time for the opening of the new winter bubble in the Fall of this year, 2018!
There will be further emails about membership, early bird specials, and discounts for Milton residents, and Milton tennis club members. So stay tuned!
In the meantime, continue honing your game at the public courts, or at other clubs. No doubt you will want to come back to Milton TC, to see all of our exciting new changes!!
To our members,
I wanted to let you know that the plan to close next season is still moving ahead. The Town continues to negotiate with the third party operators who have bid on the winter bubble and a selection should be made very soon. I was very encouraged to hear from the Town of how impressed they were with the bids. The feeling is very positive that the winter bubble will be coming to Milton next year!
Part of that process will be a complete reconstruction of our courts starting as early next spring as the weather will allow! We have to hope for a warm dry spring! As such the club will be closed and will reopen fully with all of the same teams and programs in 2019.
President, Milton Tennis Club
