Milton Tennis Club
The singles tournament will be held from Friday August 27th to Sunday August 29th. To avoid playing singles matches in the heat of midday it has been decided to play the matches starting in the late afternoon and going into the evening. Depending on the sizes of the draws matches will be played from 5 pm onwards on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If some draws are large it is possible matches would start earlier in the day on the Saturday and Sunday. You can choose from three divisions (A, B or C) based on skill level and most participants will be guaranteed at least two matches during the tournament. Note that these club singles draws are open to all members, however, a separate ladies draw will be provided as an option. If there are not enough female members who enter that draw those that did will be merged with one of the club singles draws. The format of the draws will depend on the number of entries. Tennis balls will be provided and there will be prizes awarded to the division winners at this year's AGM. The entry fee for the singles tournament will be $15 and must be paid by two days before the tournament via e-transfer to [email protected]. Cash payments will not be accepted this year. When making the etransfer please put a comment to indicate the payment is for the tournament.
To register for one of the singles tournament divisions click on the link below to open a google form. If clicking on the link doesn't work simply copy and paste the url into your browser. Follow the prompts to fill it in and then submit. Once you submit the form you will receive a confirmation email that will include a link that will allow you to see which draws other members have entered. If you decide that you wish to change the draw you want to play in send me an email and I will adjust. The deadline to register for the singles tournament is Wednesday August 25th.
