Singles Challenge Ladder

Designed for members interested in competitive singles matches against players of a similar skill level. Participants are ranked to start the season and challenge other players around their ranking range. Organize your own matches to fit your schedule. Players move up and down the rankings based on wins and losses. Skill levels range from 2.5 – 5.0. (A “ladies only” singles ladder will run provided there is enough interest.)

Ladder play is scheduled to begin early to mid May. Members are free to join at any point during the season.

Fee: $15

Club Tournaments

To register for a tournament click on the links below.  Make note of the level requirements for each event. Also note that the Tournament Director reserves the right to restrict draw entries. For example, for the Men’s A draw, a player must have demonstrated at least a solid 4.5 rating to be allowed entry. This will be determined by Singles Ladder results, OTA tournaments and/or previous Club tournaments. If you are confused about which draw you should enter, feel free to email: adult-programs@miltontennis.com. Also note that members can register for two of the three Men’s tournaments, as long as they meet the level requirements. Semifinalists in the A draw cannot play the B tournament and semifinalists in the B draw cannot play the C draw.

The winner of the Men’s Singles A draw, Ladies’ Singles A draw, Mixed Doubles A draw, Ladies’ Doubles A draw, and Men’s Doubles A draw have their names engraved on the plaques that hang in the Clubhouse. Have a look next time you’re at the Club. You can also look on the Website. HOME – HISTORY – CLUB CHAMPIONS. See how many links to newspaper articles you can find. It’s fun!
