A message from MTC President, Susan Kitamura:

Hello Members!

I hope you have enjoyed the 2025 outdoor tennis season! We have some good weather ahead to take us to the end of the season on September 30th.

As you may know, our lease ends on the last day of September and we will resume outdoor tennis next year May 1st, 2026.

Tennis Clubs of Canada will begin to put up the bubble on October 1st. They run the FOR PROFIT Winter Tennis Club on the back 5 courts. They have the lease for the premises starting that day and as such, the Summer Club cannot operate outdoor tennis on the front 3 courts. Many of you have asked, and unfortunately no, the winter club and the Town of Milton will not allow us to do so.

At any rate, we have had another great summer! Thank you to the members for a wonderful outdoor season. My thanks to my fellow Executive Team, Club Staff, Ace coaches, & Club Pro Kyrylo for a well run season full of tennis activity! We are blessed with a strong, cohesive tennis community here at Milton TC (over 1100 members strong)!

Finally, I will take this opportunity to wish everyone well, as I step down as President of the tennis club after 11 years. Time for change! I encourage you all to continue to volunteer and support the new Board. Passionate volunteers are so essential to maintaining a transparent, not for profit tennis club. Community leadership is a must, so please come forward and lend your skills to keep MTC a thriving tennis community that continues to grow the game for the future generations to come. Remember we have a +100 year tradition to uphold!!!
